ZEDAiRE Policies
Privacy Policy
Effective date: 21 August 2026
1. Who we are
ZEDAiRE is the direct-to-consumer label of Zed Aar Exports, [registered office address], Bhagalpur, Bihar, India. When this policy says "we", it means ZEDAiRE / Zed Aar Exports. For anything privacy-related, write to info@zedaire.com.
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use zedaire.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it under applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
2. What we collect
We collect only what we need to sell you a garment and stand behind it:
- Identity and contact data - your name, email address, and phone number
- Delivery data - the shipping address you give us at checkout
- Order data - what you bought, when, for how much, and its delivery status
- Account data - your email and sign-in method if you create an account
- Technical data - IP address, browser, and device information collected automatically by our hosting infrastructure for security and performance
We do not collect or store card or banking details. Online payments are handled entirely inside Razorpay's secure payment window, which is where you enter your card, UPI or netbanking details - they go to Razorpay, never to us. Cash on delivery is offered in the same window. Once a payment succeeds Razorpay passes us your name, phone number, delivery address and what was paid, so that we can ship the order.
3. How we collect it
Directly from you - when you place an order, create an account, sign in with Google, or email us. Automatically - standard server logs and the essential cookies described in our Cookie Policy. Your shopping cart lives in your own browser while you browse.
When you go to checkout we save the contents of your bag to our systems, even if you do not finish, so that we can help recover an interrupted order. Your name, phone number and address are typed inside Razorpay's payment window and reach us only if the order completes - unless you are signed in, in which case we already hold them and may keep them with that record. If we ever ask you for your details on our own page instead, which happens only when the payment window cannot open, those are saved as you type. Write to us if you would like such a record deleted.
If you tap the optional “Use my location” button, your coordinates are used once to look up your pincode and locality (via OpenStreetMap’s geocoding service) and are not stored.
4. How we use it
- To process, deliver, and support your orders
- To operate your account and keep it secure
- To respond when you contact us
- To meet legal obligations such as tax and accounting records
- With your consent, to send you occasional emails about new collections - every one carries an unsubscribe link
We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
5. Who we share it with
Only the partners needed to run the store, and only what each needs:
- Infrastructure - our database and authentication run on Supabase, hosted in the AWS Mumbai (ap-south-1) region; the website runs on our hosting provider
- Sign-in - if you choose to sign in with Google, Google processes that sign-in under its own privacy policy
- Delivery - courier partners receive your name, address, and phone number to deliver your order
- Payments - Razorpay, our payment gateway, processes your payment and the contact and address details you enter in its payment window, under its own privacy policy
- Authorities - where the law requires us to disclose
6. Where it lives and how it is protected
Your data is stored in India (AWS Mumbai region) with access restricted to the small team that runs the store. Connections to the site are encrypted, database access is role-restricted, and administrative access is limited to named accounts.
7. How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete your account. Data no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal data of yours we hold
- Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Delete your account and associated personal data, except records we must keep by law
- Stop sending you marketing email - or just use the unsubscribe link
Email info@zedaire.com and we will respond within 30 days.
9. Children
Our store is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Grievances
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, contact our grievance officer: [Grievance officer name], Zed Aar Exports, Bhagalpur, Bihar - info@zedaire.com. We aim to resolve grievances within the timelines set by applicable law.
